Project by Lívia Baisánszki, Imola Balogh, Márton Pintér
We did not agree with the original proposal of creating a marketplace for the Népsziget. Instead, we got rid the spatial architectural presence and proposed a theoretical program. A program that urges universities to emigrate their student elites on site to collaborate on a specific issue. A universal co-working attitude - we believe at least - is more capable to improve the overall conditions of the Népsziget than any kind of built architecture focusing on a certain case.
The project was given the nickname "Budapest 51" that refers to the infamous "Area 51" in terms of research. However the big difference is that we pursue to be an open-source mission.
